If the A/F chart is accurate your are at 17.0 @ 5400 rpm. I think you would have melted down. 12.0 on a Lightning is getting very lean. Usually they start a little lean at tip-in, get a little richer as you increase throttle, then lean out as the rpm's come up. Might consider trying another machine to insure that you are running safe.

No, you are actually running FAT! you are at 10:1 by the time you hit 5000 rpms.

What you guys are missing is the the line that goes from bottom left to top right is the MPH graph. It shows the MPH at a given RPM on the way up the band.

The A/F ratio starts at a very safe 12.0:1 at the beginning of the run, and drops to being very Rich at the end of the run.

Look at the graph carefully again, and you will see the proper axis labels on each side.

YOU ARE RUNNING RICH, but rich is safe! (just don't go any fatter!)

Great numbers, I like the hood too. Did you just put a GT hoodscoop over the stock hood, or did you replace the hood?

If you look close at the graph the horsepower #s do not reach 380, they ony reach about 372 or so.

Graph

How come horsepower and torque don't cross at 5200 rpm? Something is not making sense. Skip

Nice numbers. I was thinking about seeing how much power I can get out of the truck without a chip and pulley, but they add just so much more I can't resist. You have some willpower!

It should up just fine. I know a few people that have valve covers powdercoated on their cars and it holds up to the heat great.
