Anyone recommend a paticular unit for city and street navigation?

Check out the Garmin site, I like the Etrex Vista. If you travel alot you will want more megs internal, so you don't have to (buy) and download maps all the time.

my friend had the one that looks like a chunk of Toblerone chocolate with an antenna - it has only 2 meg internal, but he likes it a lot - mounts it to his BMW bike and truck.

Ive got the eTrex summit and i like it quite a bit. It isnt that great for on the road but it does show you where you are going and your speed and that type of info. I hook it up to my laptop sometimes and with MS MapPoint I can see where I am going.
