felonious,
That is exactly the point. Kind of makes you think twice hugh?

Just think of how this situation could change the minds of people. A great example is on airplanes. Just try and take over an airplane today. Good luck. Just over a year ago, no problem.

Not to lessen the seriousness of shooting anyone but murder an FBI agent.... bad news

The last lady was shot while her husband was helping her load bags into a car... How do you live with something like that? Watching that happen to your wife...
I could understand if a loved one was hit by a car, died of a heart attack, cancer... those are all reasonable. Understandable... but who the "F" get's shot by a sniper? That's the most senseless death I can think of... I would never be able to come to grips with that.
I could never be a cop... if I was a cop... with all the monsters walking around today... rapists, child molesters, snipers... I wouldn't be a cop for long. F'ers wouldn't get a trial, wouldn't get their rights read... wouldn't even get a chance to make peace with their maker... Just a quick hole between the eyes. The world would be a better place.

Well I just woke up this morning, Wed 10/16 (Long Island NY) to hear on my radio that we had 3 shots fired by a "copy cat sniper.
"THANK GOD NO ONE WAS HIT"
WTF IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE.

One poor little girl in my sons class lost her Father a year or two ago (1st grade) jogging on the school track. Some 14-16 yr old kid shot him dead, when caught he said, I wanted to know what it felt like to kill someone, LITTLE SICK BASTARD.

Here's my problem on this Snipper Deal. Someone is this persons Mother, Father, Brother, Sister, Girlfriend, Boyfriend, Husband, Wife, or Friend. Which tells me:
THAT SOMEONE KNOWS THEIR BLOOD IS DOING THIS.
Someone knows they were out each time there was a killing, Someone knows they have a gun AND THE SKILLS to do this.
Someone knows they have a white/off white vehicle.
Someone knows they have the mind set for this.

"THAT SOMEONE SHOULD BE PUT TO DEATH TOO"
Hopefully really slow, and really painful

I think if I lived in a city where a whacko like this ****** is doing his business, I'd buy a bullet proof vest.

I realize he's hit a couple of victoms in the head, but he's also nailed most of them in the chest.

So wearing one would increase ones survival rate buy 50% since he's only using one bullet per victom.

Actually, I think this guy would take it as a challenge to get someone with a bullet proof vest.

On a side note, I don't think that these vests protect against all bullets anyway. I mean if bullet proof vests really worked why do armies shoot at each other?

The only problem with that is, he is using a .223 caliper armor piercing bullet.

there's no vest known to man that can stop a .223

And a .223 is not armor piercing, it a human killing round
