Lightning Owners w/ stock rims/tires

hey my lightning is riding a little bumpy on smooth road, and was thinking the tire pressure could be messed up. i have the stock 18' wheels and goodyear tires. what is the best PSI to run them at?

Look on the inside of the door

should be around 32psi i think....might be 34........but look inside the door

I personally run 35 in the front and 28 in the back. I think 32 is the recommended psi all the way around though.

I'd say it depends on how you drive.

If your a weekend bruiser? Go with the fronts at 35 and the rears at 28-30. If your a daily driver, I'd go with 32 at all 4.

If it is bumpy on smooth road check to be sure they are balanced... Does the truck smooth out at certain speeds ?

yeah i was wondering the same thing, they might need to be balanced because i filled them up to 32psi yesterday they were all at 24psi!!!

yeah at like 45-50mph they always do a hop thing, and then at 55-60 they are smooth, and so on....... so i need them balanced you think?

YES !!!

Best balance I ever got was from cooper tire.. Machine had Load arm that simulated load on the tire while spinning ... Smooth as glass after that

I run 32 all the way around...it's a daily driver for a while still.

i'll probably go to belle tire early monday, cause then all just get a balance/rotation/alignment, get it all done in one shot, they got that sweet laser alignment (perfect every time)
