Hey guys, do a search. If I remember right, I think there was pictures posted here of a Sonic Blue Lightning that was custom done from the Epping, NH Fun Ford Weekend event. I "think" Don C posted it. It looked really purple, but was neat.

Thats cause reds the best color.

There's more silver cars produced then any other color right now so thats just not true.

If I didn't pick the red I would have got white cause the white L's just have a nice clean and smooth look to them.

True blue is ok, but the sonic blue is going to look allot better.

Yellow is still the color that ford screwed us on.
I wanted a WHITE "L" also but my wife and best friend talked me into getting the red one... It is the TRUE "L" color... Just check out all of Fords advertising if you don't believe it. I covered my bases by purchasing a tru-blue Escape for my wife... Nice little car... every option available

That 350 doesnt appear to be in direct sunlight. It almost looks true blue whereas if you have seen a sonic blue cobra in direct sunlight it appears bright blue and purple on some of the angles.

I have a picture of that custom sonic blue Lightning saved a 3.5 floopy but I don't know how to show the picture. If someone can help me, I'll post it so everyone can get an idea of what it will look like.

Thanks guys I appreciate it. If they put it on a 350, then they will prob. keep it on the L. I guess I could have called SVT, but I didn't pick the phone up. I agree it does look purple at times, but it is different.

Why doesn't Ford use the blue of the oval, and make it metallic?

Call it "Ford blue" a color very similar to this came on some 50-60's T-birds. Leave the purple out of the Sonic and that would be just fine.

If they offer the yellow L in 04 i will probably have to buy one for my wife. She loves my truck and wants her own in yellow. If they do the right color of yellow, it will look really good.

sonic blue

I was at the FFW at epping and the lightning wasn't sonic blue...it was more purple than blue. It did look neet, but the pictures don't do it any justice. I think the sonic blue would look great. Had an 03 cobra next to my truck in the staging lanes a couple weeks ago and was eying it compared to my truck, i think most would like it. I don't like the true blue, too dark.
