I want to do a 4 lb pulley, chip, pro-m MAS with filter on my 99. Question is, I've looked on the classifieds and found some chips. Does anyone currently have any of these they would want to offload (to upgrade)? Also, is this a good combo for a daily driver? Is a stock pulley considered 0? Do you have to do plugs with this setup? Finally, is a flip chip worth it for commutes and what-not? Thanks

 

My truck is a Daily driver. Ive got a 6lb'er, chip, cold-air conefilter, and NGK TR-6 plugs. It has run just fine for me, no problems. I have 2 sides on my chip... (diablo delta chip). One side is a mild street (economy type program), other side is agressive street (race). Its great... Good luck.

The classifieds are a great place to find hand me down mods. When you pulleys advertised as 2lb, 4lb, 6lb, etc. That is the boost increase over stock. You also might check out the NLOC site as well. Make sure the pulley will fit your year. 99-00 are the same. 01-02 are the same. They are not interchangeable. Chips can be re-burned if the code does not match your computer. Do not try it unless you know what is on it and what computer code it is burned (programed) for. 99 CUX1, 00 CUX2, 01 CNX1, etc.
