it would really be nice if we could all set up a date for westhampton .lets all pool dates and ill go through them to match something up we all agree on.lets show em what we got.thanks to everyone for the response to a day at the hamptons.to davered99,im from holbrook .i got a gift if you dont have already.somebody gave me a 80mm prom mass air meter and air filter set up for 99 L .used once ,ran a 12.6 but went back to my 90 with a j.l. ram air setup anyway yours if you want .dont have need for it just waiting to give to someone to put to some good use. attention:rob 02 lightning :the reason i think i ran the same times with aon without nos was, to much power which causeed loss of traction resulting in a tenth of loss in the 60foot times .suposedly every tenth in the 60 is worth 2 tenths in 1/4.i think with proper tires and traction setup itll be capable of high 11s.ill be able to bring my launch harder.right now on f1s i was only able to launch at 1700 rpms and i let it roll out a tab bit.hope to see you guys at the track .sorry aint got nothing for you being2002 but i bet we can figure how to launch these rockets and show some nice times. everyone else please enter a few weekend dates so i can find one to match up for us.

 

I'm often at the Hamptons. I usually go on Fridays, but I recently found out from Tony that they don't spray glue on Fridays. I should be there this Saturday, running the big red machine, shooting for some, ahem, low 10s . Chim, Rob, Dave, come on down and have some fun. I'll even bring some tuning stuff if you guys want to play with chip tuning.

Anytime you need help, I'm here. We use Autologic brand chips, and do all our programs in house. I can custom make programs right at the track or the dyno. I can't do anything with your old Superchip. I've got plugs for you if you need, you definitely need to get those stockers out of there.

I've been at the hampton's the last 3 weeks in a row, I'll be there Friday again if the weather is cool. Unfortunatly, like chimshady1 is saying, I'm having major launching problems and I "STILL" havent had my 12 sec run .

The good news is, the WOT 3rd gear Gremlin is finally gone and the power is back in it. This weekend my 60's went up 2/10th's with the Extra power from 1.8 to 2.0 and yet I managed to take 2/10ths off the ET to give me a 13.1 and I raised my MPH from the slow 100 to 104.577. My 1/8 mile was crap at 8.4 but the extra MPH and ET on the top side lets me know the power is back and it's time to rock and roll, YA BABY......

So another words when I FINALLY get this sucker to hook up, I'm finally gonna be able to hit my 12.9 sec goal AND HOPEFULLY THEN SOME.

Chim, I hear you on the launch with the F-1's, you ought to see mine. But the more I hear from you the more I'm sooooooo glad I didn't try to run you the other day when we met on Nichols Rd.
