I was headed to the Library on Saturday with my wife. We rolled up to a stoplight in our 2000 SVT Lightning. I looked over to my left and see a silver 2002 330xi. There is a guy driving alone in it and he starts slowing inching forward so that before the light goes green he his about 3/4 of a car length ahead of me. I thought, "surely he is not gonna test me in that thing." So the light goes green and I take off kinda quickly but not WOT. I ease into it to avoid wheelspin and look over at the beamer. I have a nose ahead and I see him shifting furiously. Ok, now I know it's on. I mash it hard and squirt out ahead about 2 car lengths to 70 and merge over because my lane ends. He got right on my rear bumper, maybe only 2 feet away to show me how much he hated me. I could tell he was seriously pissed off at having his precious BMW spanked by a pickup truck. I had to get into a turn lane to make my destination, so he floored it as he went by in ricer type fly by. Ah the joy of driving a Lightning, later...

 

Should of had your wife flip him off as he went by. Good kill!

I forgot to mention that my wife was rolling her eyes at me afterwards. Something about men being too competitive. But she was laughing and I know she had fun.

She has a few kill stories of her own, in her Mustang GT. Don't mess with little women who can speed shift, ya know...
