Getting engaged?!?!?!?!

This is funny.

So about a month ago I go to my girlfriends mother to ask her what size my girls ring finger is. Why? well I wanted to get her a nice present for X-mas and I like to get custom made ***** so nobobdy else has it so I had to get it done early.

Well somehow the old lady found out about a ring a X-mas and that was it. she didn't know what it was for or anything. So for the past month she's been acting weird and pushing us apart kinda and asking for more time apart. I didn't know what the hell was going on so I'm think oh damn whats going on. I'm sure most of you know what you start thinking when this ***** happens to you. So for about a month we've had a bad fight every weekend about stupid stuff.

SO tonight I picked her up in the beast and first off I blew a damn header gasket (not that bad though) and me and her are going out to have a nice night together. And everything is fine with us until i take her home and I was just looking at her ring finger (to check sizes) when she looks at me and says " you know I've been acting weird lately cause somthing is on my mind and I have to get it out now. I know that your planning on asking me to marry me this X-mas and thats what I'm freaked out about. You know that I love you and I want to be with you more then anything else but we are not ready for this." So I'm looking at her confused and then it hits me. I smiled at her and she looked confused then. I was like kristen I'm not planning on asking you to marry me this X-mas and what made you think that. She's like well I know about the ring. And I just looked at her and laughed and said thats just a X-mas gift for you cause you liked that ring. There's no way I'm thinking about getting married just yet and you'll be getting pist about me not asking you before you have to worry about me proposing, TRUST ME you got about 4 years of hard work in front of you, HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Anyway I feel so much better now that I figured out what the problem was with us both and why we where fightning with each other. I just had to get that out of me.

I just love how woman hear somthing and then make up this plot in there head and start to beleive it. They can't just mind there own buisness and not worry about it. Especially after buying a new bike, I don't have 15 grand for a engagement ring right now, HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Someone tell me they have had this happen to them before. cause it was so funny to hear this from her mouth.

Yes!

Yes that has indeed happened before...LOL. I just broke up with my G/F because of a misunderstanding in the engagement department. She was ready and I was not....that was the problem...LOL. Nothing like saving a few grand and being back out on the market again.

My story is just the opposite. I got the "This relationship is not going anywhere" routine, when in fact it was perfect as far as I was concerned.

Bottom line is that I wound up getting her a ring and have been married >25 years now.

She has spent the time since then trying to change me. "Don't drink", "don't swear", "Why don't you go to church with me on Sunday?" and "You like your garage more than me, don't you?"

Now that she's pretty much done changing me there are times when she doesn't like me very much. Wonder why?

Well I have to say that me and kristen have no problems with commitment, its just right now we both don't want that to worry about.

Hey I'm 21 and she's 20 we got PLENTY of time and she feels the same way as me so where good.

She trys to change me on certain little crap but thats me and thats just the way it is. A womans job in life is to change her man and once he's perfect they get a new one, HAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

Exclamation

Well you are right and wrong about different things.

You are right about having plenty time. You have PLENTY time so don't go rushing into anything.

You are wrong about a woman's job in life. It is not to change her man. It is to screw the car up. God made woman for the sole purpose of screwing up cars, trust me I know. It is all women's devine responsibility to do this.

Well it is supposed to be 3 months salary.

It is not to change her man. It is to screw the car up.
I thought it was to give us gray hairs early
