I made my own " silver-bullit" cat back, AWESOME !!

First, I should start off by saying that I have had JDM's long tubes with their dual muffler set-up and it is a VERY nice kit and the quality/performance is superb.

I recently( last week) bought another silver 02 Lightning and I didn't have the extra money to buy Longtubes, etc... so I went to my local accesorie shop and bought all the exhaust parts to make my own "cat-back" kit.

I started off with a Magnaflow X-pipe (85.00) and I bought 2 polished 4" round Magnaflow mufflers(75.00 a piece) and are you ready for this...2) 4" x 18" stainless steel tips(30.00 a piece) and had a local exhaust shop weld everything together including hangers,etc.. for 100.00 . The Quality is Unbelievable and the sound and performance is UNREAL !!!!!

This truck sounds louder and MEANER than the Long-tube set up and I am anxious to see what the Dyno will tell me. I will have a freind take some pics soon and I will post them . The kit is simply Bad As* ...

I will have pics and part #'s posted tommoroww. -Neil

You spent $320. How much is the Silver Bullet?

I did something similar: Bought 2 Race Magnum Bullets ($30 each) and paid $60 to have them installed with a small balancing tube welded in before the mufflers.

Love the aggressive sound.
