Well, it all started when i heard reving of an engine in the next lane to me, it was about 1:30a.m last night and the streets were empty. We happen to be at the lights and he lowers his window and tells me, "Lets run em" I'm like sure, he still had his dealer tags. Well the lights turns green and we let em rip i spinned bad but so did he, i got the jump on about half a truck and he didn't catch up. It sure sounded nice though. Well we stop and he pulls me over. His quote " Nice truck, running NOS uh??" Me: "No, all motor!" Him: "I could have bought one of those but i didn't think they were all that powerful as they are made out to be!" Me: " Well i just beat your Cobra!, didn't I" Him: Yeah but you have **** loads of mods. Mine is stock. Me: " Yeah but you also paid about 10 K more for your car, or am i wrong?? Him: " Well anyways i got to go, nice truck (takes off peeling out)!

It was a nice run and all, but considering how much i spinned, i could have probably edged him out more. Oh well, its times like this that it feels great to own a Lightning.

 

Kickass, although stock for stock I dont think we have much of a chance. Those cars are badass!!!!

 

I raced a friend of mine in his 03 Cobra a while back. I had him out of the hole, and about a truck length on him to about 80mph then he missed a gear so I let off. But he was starting to gain on me,those Cobras are pretty fast ! Jim

Now the bad news. Anytime that somebody takes off spinning tires you have an excellent chance of getting hit by a rock. It will do damage.
