I finally got around to installing the oil seperator mod. Mine is not from REM but it looks just like it. When I removed the factory curved plastic vacuum line I noticed it had oil in it. So I decided to take off my intake boot from the throttle body. The throttle body had a little bit a oil residue in it and the boot had some oil in the reccesses of the first few corrugations. I wiped both of them out the best I could. The blades of my throttle body looked pretty clean on the front and back.

After I installed the mod I took the truck for a short ride and nailed it twice up to about 60 mph. When I returned home I could see a little bit of oil on the sides of the filter bowl and some on the filter itself. I'm guessing the filter is going to turn brown pretty quick.

How often do I need to change the filter and has anyone located where you can get extra filters? (I have the Amflo filter)
