I have not gotten any replies to my e-mails for quite a whirl from MArk, plus one e-mail came back yesterday saying it had fatal errors. I am using the e-mails that he has posted in his site. ANyone else having problems?

He is usually logged on AIM under the name uni4money late at night. Mark is a busy guy, but you could also try phoning him as well.

mswaim, no it is still pinging. The SES is on again. I was told that there is no real way to tell if a MAS has gone bad. I guess I will have to spend the money to buy a new sensor in order ot find out if that is what is causing the pinging. That darn pinging started after that E-Fan and water pump install. The SES had come on though after i had the moved the position of the MAS from the side to the upper position.

mswaim, could you possibly look at my truck since we live in the same city. Maybe you can shed some light on this problem. Please let me know.

ps: Do you know if the dealership that Doris works for is real strict with mods? I didn't want to take it in for service and get the warranty voided like many others.

 

device manager, there is no posted phone number in his web site. Two of the three e-mails that he has posted came back as undeliverable.

PS: I have called Jim at JDM with my problem with pinging and he was not able to help.

 

I've not yet met the new service manager at Razzari, the old one was pretty easy to work with. In fact, he authorized the install of a Vortech blower on my 97 Cobra which was still under it's original warranty at the time. One of the SVT techs did the install in Razzari's shop, including a Saleen dash gauge kit for boost and fuel pressure. Heck, I purchased the S-trim kit through Razzari's parts department in order to tap into Doris's discount. On my 99 Lightning they never complained about the air kit, but then some of the mods you are running weren't available in 1999.....and I sold my first "L" after only ten months.

 

Hey Brasil,

Check to see if your intercooler fluid is circulating. If it isnt, then the pump wire is either shorted or fuse blown or the pump is bad.

When that happens, the truck will ping like a bit(h from the super heated intake charge coming in.
