I'm kind of lazy, thats why i left caps lock on. Anyway, my knew mod is a home made wheely bar. Just for laughs though.

Since the air is getting a little cooler i'm also getting that silent tire spin that some have noticed with the f-1's. I go sideways sometimes in the morning when i give it more than half throttle. I also have the torgue reduction " on " and i still leave over 15' of tire marks shifting from first to second gear at wot.

I hope a lot of L's show up October 19 at FIREBIRD RACEWAY.

TIRE MARKS NOT JUST WHEEL SPINNING. I'm jealous of all your back east 12 sec. times. I read a lot on this board and greatful for everyones input.

I also want to thank PSP for one of SAL"S economy program that i got. At 77mph i get over 23 mpg: and my truck is over weight.

 

to leave tire marks, your wheels must be spinning, but you are able to spin your wheels on a 1/2 shift with the torque reduction still on...........Iam the one jealous

 

I got to run with a 03 blown mustang w/ exhaust and intake , 3000' and all he could do was a 13.5 @106 80*. My heavy truck did 13.5 @103. The computer was out because of thunder storms on the 60' times so i don't know our 60's; mine spon and axle hopped into second, but that was my best time.

Last Sat. nite I ran a 12.79 @ 106, 1.79 60' ,85* heat.

 

Badbolt2 i wish i could get in the 12's . I burn these f-1's though second gear for 4 seconds or so; and high 8/mile times;l I know i'm heavy but....

 

BadBolt2 I'll try to make it there friday. What time do the gates open and when do they start the "test and tune" part?

 

Fri nites are "heads-up " racing all nite.I think gates open @ 5pm.
I'll probably go out about 6:00.
