Yep....I had no other choice but to drive my truck like an old woman for the last 4 days to get rid of my bad tank of gas. Couldnt let it hit over 6 psi for fear of detonation. Filled up a little while ago from an empty tank and the detonation is gone. YAAAAAAAY BOOST AGAIN!!!!. I forgot how an L was supposed to run ;D I just cant believe I resisted the urge to nail it for 4 days successfully!!! And for you guys that suggested putting toulene in my tank....I was going to but just couldnt bring myself to put substance from a paint store in the L.

I haven't used toluene(or zylene) either but many turbo guys(Buick, etc.) have been using it for years. A friend(cablebandit) of mine had installed a turbo on his 2000 Trans Am and bot a 55 gal. drum of toluene and used it all the time. Btw, he got his TA into the 11s with it.

I have a chip in my Lightning and the Pump Jockey pat regular in my truck. It pinged like a bastard, got some octane boost , burnt that tank of gas off and all was well. Man did that bit-ch ping.

Nothing wrong with Toluene ... It's been used for years
to raise octane on race cars ... Try it with a high octane
race gas program and you will be amazed !!!

what exactly is toulene...is it the chemical in gas that they use to determine the octane rating or something?
