went to the dealer today because of a rattling noise coming from the driver side door. the rattle sounded like the door was not shut all the way. the dealer said the door is okay but the rattle was coming from a defective seat belt assembly. they tried tightening it but no luck. so they are ordering me a new one and replacing it next week.

 

Thanks, I have the same thing. I was't quite sure if it was the door or somrthing related to the seatbelt.

 

If you move forward and backward in the seat (upper body)
does the sound exist? That one bugged the S H E A T outta
me until they replaced the lower seat belt assembly, and that
cured it ... it was a SQUEAKY/SQUISH kinda sound.
