2003 L A/Z/D & X Plan Priceing
Ok guys, I'm currently in the market for a 2003 L, I've sent out 40 e-mails to SC dealers to start with, to check chances of ordering a 2003 on X-Plan near home. I got 4 will do's for 2002's on still on lots, but when I asked for a 2003 ordered on X-plan things thinned out. 1 dealer said yes but wouldn't give any numbers, only drop by and give a $500 non refundable deposit. Loose $500 if i can't afford a large price increase, crazy. So today I get an e-mail from a dealer close by who not only quotes a price, but sends me 2 copies of vehicle order confirmations, scanned, on orders he will recieve. These documents tell options, cost by plan, and even color. These guys rule. So what you've all been waiting for, if you didnt already know, the prices of the 2003's are as follows:
Invoice is 29,834.60
MSRP is 33,495
X-Plan is 29,867.58
A/Z/D Plans 28,574.60 (lucky dogs)
Tonneau cover is 240, 204 invoice
Plus your normal taxes, shipping, blah ,blah, blah
I hopes this helps out anyone thinking of buying a 2003. I get the A plan type priceing where I work, be nice now, BMW. But I just love the rumble of a V8. I have learned so much from this site in the past 6 months that I thought I could contribute to those who have taught me so much. If anyone recieves any pricing that is different please let me know. Hope I can be a contributeing factor in the future.

I would expect a price increase. From what I have heard it COULD be as much as 4% which I believe would put a 2003 L at or below $33,900, again this is probably worst case scenario.
Ford hasn't set the price yet (or hadn't as of a few weeks ago).
when we ordered our '03s the price was listed as $99,999 or something crazy like that because the price hasn't been set.
later,
chris
P.S. at x-plan your price might be around 30,000??? again, this is just a guestimate based on what i have heard and read, so don't take it as the gospel or whatever.

Same dealer has a 2002 and gave me the X-plan price of 29,278, so this sounds the same SilverStreak. Most of the time dealer prices usually seem to go up in the area of 500 a year, so I'm going to take this guys price.
Superfords, when he sent me the order confirmation copies, they had just arrived and are dated 10/02/02.
Thanks for the input guys

customer incentives are usually special interest rates like 0% or cash back rebates. The plan prices (again A and D anyway) are for Ford Motor Company and Dealership employees. They haven't cancelled these deals. They aren't however offering special interest or cash back on any SVT models at this time.
