Ok who in LI Wooped that Fugly Dodge RT

What do you have to do to get a good race these days.
I was just out cruzing and pulled up side by side to one of those Dodge RT's with a frigging wing the size of Rode Island mounted off the back. Not that I was looking but here was this perfect oppurtunity, nice big ave, no one infront of us, and this young guy with his moded out RT. SOB looked over and just backed down.

One of you guys must have wooped his *** and taught him what a REAL TRUCK RUNS LIKE.

I am not the biggest advocate for street racing, but it seems like everyone is chicken sometimes. I have had my truck for a few weeks now, but I can't find anyone that will run on the street.

I wouldn't care if it were just a blast up to normal speed. Is it so much to ask? Is everyone afraid of our trucks?

What happened to the classic stop light challenge?

Well, around me... I NEVER get a race. Everyone in my school that knows anything about cars/trucks, or even kids who don't... they all won't even give me a rev. I guess I never should have spilled the beans about the mod's. Oh well, looks stock from the outside... I guess word travel's fast... I went to a local teen car meet in a parking lot a couple weeks ago... I couldn't get a single person to run. Everyone is like 'Are you the one with that Lightning thats far from stock?'. Im like... nooooooo! But, I still can't get a race. Oh well, in a way its good!

I've had the truck for 2 months and can't find anyone to play with. Tonight I had a Honda Prelude roll down his window to ask me how fast my truck was stock. I told him high 13's. So then I asked him how fast his was and he said 14.6. Not bad, but when the light turned green he stomped it. I just told this guy these trucks run in the 13's and he still tried me. I guess he just wanted to see how bad these trucks are (so I showed him). Oh well, he was a nice guy. He even said my truck looked good.

Around here everyone wants to see me smoke the tires. If its a stop light and their windows are down they say "Light em up".

I'm with Audio18, not that into street racing especially if higher speeds are involved but a rapid acceleration from a light isnt that bad. It seems whenever I'm in the L, mom and her kids pull up next to me in a minivan but if I'm driving my hail damaged, 150,000 hard driven, oil burnin, daily driven 93 Saturn, every shmoe and their brother are out test and tuning up and down the local streets.
