Instaling Subwoofers with box

I have a 2000 Silver Ford Lightning and I want to install a sub in the back, behind the seats. How would I go about taking those black compartment storage containers that come in the back out? And would that be enough room for a 10" sub in a box with a 300 watt amp? Those are the only things that are in my way. Also is there any way to re-wire the 6 disc cd-changer to put it in the arm rest box? If someone who has previous experience could help me out or give me any adivce it would be great!

Look in the bottom of the box. There are 3 bolts sticking up through the bottom of it. Take off the nuts and slide it up and take it out. And yes there is plenty of room for a 10 and an amp.

I went with the Thunderform box.Very nice. There is plenty of room for an amp.The wiring for the changer is plenty long enough to relocate to the armrest.I re-mounted mine under the middle seat.much more accessable. It's a worthwhile mod weather you add a Sub box or not!
