Will This Work

CHEAP MANS RAM AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

K&N AIR FILTER IN STOCK AIR BOX AND REMOVING DRIVER SIDE TURN SIGNAL LENSE. TRACK USE ONLY.

DO YOU GUYS THINK THIS WILL WORK OR ANY SUGGESTION?

I know SILVERLIGHTNING (fred) was running really low 13's, and on his last run he popped out the headlight and just got into the 12's. I think he said he gained 1mph with his "one eye willie" mod as he called it i think

The radiator overflow tank is in the way. You would have to relocate it for the air to have a straight shot to the filter.
I have seen it done. One that I've seen had a headlight gutted with a tube coming off of the back to flow air directly to the filter. At the end of the day at the track, he just put a working headlight in.

thanks for the replies.

maybe i'll just start saving my money and buy a jl ram air kit.

going to the track friday maybe i'll take off the bottom of the stock air box and wire tie the filter to the top of the box.

Are we gonna see you at one or more of the events next year ??

I am scheduled to be taking pictures at all the FFW's next year
