Talking Just joined the 12's club

Ran 7 times, these were the best 2, all the others were 12.9 and one 13.1 (on street program).......85 degrees, humidity.....not sure.....First time to track with the 4#, traction bars, and TR6's

Lakewoods worked great. Just took right off... Too bad the 60 foot light was not working..........I would bet it was around 1.6 though.

Question

JBL: Congratulations on your first 12!

I have to call you on the "1.6--60 ft." time though. My best of 12.532 had a 1.792 60 ft. with a 8.008 1/8 mile time. I think your 8.26 1/8th mile time indicates a higher 60 ft.--closer to 1.8xx.............

Lighninrod ,

your probably right, it might not have been in the 6's, but maybe 7s, as I had a 1.8 on my 13.08 run a while back before the traction bars and 4#. and 1.8 was spinning a little bit.

Thumbs up 12 Second Club

Sounds like you made it into the 12 sec. club 6 out of 7 runs! Way to go! Just think what the times will be when it cools off here in Houston. I bet you'll be in the middle 12's.

Talking 12 Second Club

I have just joined the 12 second club recently too. Feels great don't it? I can't wait for Englishtown in a couple of weeks. The weather will be cooler and I'll have my JDM traction bars to try out. I said I wouldn't mod this truck when I bought it, but I just can't help myself, it's just too much fun

Question Weight Reduction

JBL.....I noticed you have a snuglid. Does it help to take it off when your doing the 1/4? Are their any other little tips to get the weight down or do you just leave your lid on for better traction ....how about that spare tire? Anyone have some tips

NJ SILVERBULLET has a hard top lid and he had just kept it on his truck the night he made the 12sec pass.
