Who has most mile without a ticket?

I just turned 60,000 in mine! There have been some close calls though. V-1 has saved my a$$ many times.

I just want to know how many miles in the L without a ticket.

I have come across so many Valentine One threads that speak highly of the unit.

It must be the foshizzle.

I am only 24, but I have never had a ticket in my 8 years of driving until 2 months ago. I have had many fast cars and many close calls, but I must have lucked out. However, bought an R6 and got nailed going 89 in a 65.

Wife made me sell the bike, but I bought a Lightning instead! Despite what she thinks, I feel the truck will get me in more trouble than the bike. With a bike, you know you can beat any car. With the truck, it is too much fun to show people what they are made of.

I'm on my 2nd Lightning, 4th truck, 67 Delta Custom, 65 CJ5, Volkswagon Cabriolet, Porsche 914-6, and 65 Mustang since my last ticket.

I wouldn't know how to measure it in miles. How about over 8000 days (22 years)?

I'm 44 and my last one was in 1982. But the L makes it much harder to stay clean. I do drive county roads mostly to work and back so that may save me. The other day I was in Austin and raced a Firebird from a light. There was a cop in a parking lot and he let me go (even though I was in the lead) and stopped the Firebird!

That what a lot of the bikes around here thought... until they ran into a Turbo'd Sentra that runs around here. He has been know to beat 500's easily and even a few 650's

I guess I am refering to any of the supersport bikes that run 10 second 1/4's. Then again, it is difficult to get a bike to perform a flawless run. The same also goes for any car that can run that fast, for they will most definately have traction issues on the street.

I have seen quite a few examples of cars that will take even the fastest bikes. As they say, there is always someone faster out there.

47,000 miles and only one ticket.. Which I would have never gotten except there were 5 other lightnings that were randomly on the same road at the same time were doing about 110 and I get caught just because my truck looked like thiers....
Since I live in Texas - I took Internet defensive driving and it disappeared....

I'm 21, and have never had a ticket or owned a radar detector. My daily driver before the L ran 10's, and I've now got 40K miles on the Lightning. You don't get tickets if you obey the law.

Funny you should post this. I just got my first speeding ticket in my L after 50K and nearly 3 years of driving it. It was in Pflugerville and was going 62 in a 50. I currently have my first warrent right now as well. In Pflugerville you must appear in person in 12 days or less. Today is day 13, been on vacation for the most part and then had to work. I guess I go up there in the morning and see what happens :-( Wish me luck 12 days is such a short period of time

I'm up to 11,000 ticket free Lightning miles, although I was pulled over once. I think that had more to do with the cop wanting to check out the truck. He asked a lot of questions about the L, and didn't even ask to see my license. Once he knew I was a 'local', he told me to watch my speed.

Through a couple of '69 GTO's, and a couple of Mustang GT's and 5.0 litre LX's I haven't had a speeding ticket in about 15 years, so realistically I think I'm about due.

My last ticket was about 8 years ago, when I was the unlucky one driving my wife's car. She forgot to get her new sticker, and I got stuck with the $80 fine for expired plates.
