How far do you drive to work? Is trafic stop and go? From what speeds do you slow? What does the occasional rice killer run mean? Every other weekend with 10 kills per night?

I was j/k earlier. I have no idea how long your brakes will last. I'd guess probably 40K miles.

I drive seven miles to work and at my 30K tune up the dealer said I had 80% of my pads left. YMMV.

I have around 24k miles on my stock pads and they still have plenty of meat left on them. I was wondering the same thing. When they finally go, it is getting drilled/slotted rotors and better pads.

I've got 42k on my stock pads. Looks like I'll get another 6k to 8k out of them.

I drive 100 miles round trip for seven days and then go a week mostly around town. I just got through changing mine. 40300 miles. Yesterday they started grinding on the right side..It was the inner pad...My last 99 had 50000 miles on it with the original pads...I was in a bind so I bought some Advanced Auto pads made by Ferodo. They seem to be made for a Gross Vehicle weight of 7700 pounds. Had the rotors turned also. I should have ordered some hawk pads for this day but...never got around to it.
