Tried To Install SilverBullet...NEED HELP!!!

Tonight with my friends i tried to install the SilverBullet cat-back system, and well i was able to get the stock exhaust off..was a little hard but got it off.

Anyways when i tried to put the SilverBullet on...which i bought from a member on here....i got the x-pipe back.

Well the X-Pipe wont fit the 2 stock pipes after the cats, the one on the right just sits higher? i got a little clamp but their is no way in hell i can get to fit!!!

So i decided to just run the truck without any piping from the cat back since i had decided to come on here and get help and then finish it....well the truck won't run right...it just BOGS out now and it is undriveable??

Is their anyway to run with no piping from the cat-back with out it bogging out...or if someone could PLEASE post a picture of under their truck so i can finish installing the system. I need help because i need to drive the truck tommorow for work.
Pictures would be really appreciated.

By the way i have a
Diablo Chip
6lb Pulley
Filter

maybe those are affecting something?

waz up, anyways, the truck bogs because theres no balance piep right now. thats what the x pipe is for or a single muffler. anyways, you have to loosen but do not remove the manifold to cats pipe nuts on the passenger side. this will allow you to move the pipe around so you can get that little bracket thing on which will line it up. i got the kit new and thats what the insturctions said to do. mine went on fine in 1 hour even removing the stock. hope that helps.

That sounds like a different problem. What kind of problem I have no idea, but the flashing OD light, is showing a tranny problem. I have heard that AutoZone will pull the codes for free for you, if you don't have the tool to pull codes

It's like if the truck is choking...i can't even drive it because it bogs out...the only way too drive it is putting in 1st gear and going at around 20mph and thats it??

I'm thinking a sensor got messed up,because that is the only thing that could have gotten damaged?

Anyways any replies would be very helpful,i'm going and try to take to REM.

Did you disconnect anything? Or check if anything was a loose or disconnected?

Check your fuses. I had the same thing happen to me about a month ago. (Bogging out and OD light flashing.) It was just a blown fuse. However, just replacing it didn't fix the problem. I had to take it into the dealer. Here is another post I found where someone had this problem too.

You need to follow the instructions exactly that came with it. You didn't loosen the cat pipe to the exhaust manifold. Once that is loose you have to manuver the pipe lower and then that little u shaped bracket clamps together the bracket again.
Also, I have found out that you don't tighthen down anything until you get the whole system on and adjusted. Put folded up rags between the body cutout and the tips, so that when you tighten up the system it doesn't hit the body.

Sorry, didn't notice that you had gotten it hooked back up. You retightened the manifold pipe? Did you damage the O2 sensor or wire in the exhaust system? Try disconnecting the battery as well for a bit to reset the computer.

Arrow bogging down

I recognize your problems & probably know your trouble codes, also. You have one or more damaged O2 sensors &/or O2 sensor wiring harness damaged. There IS a direct connection to the tranny & PCM electrically/electronically. Repair/replace O2 sensors & problems will go away.

Sounds like what happend to me before. Blew the fuse to the HEGO sensor (an oxygen sensor). Look in the fuse box under the hood. IIRC, it's a 15 amp blue fuse. You're owners manual should show you which one. Use the fuse from the radio to test if you need to, they're the same size/rating.

Well just got back from REM..wish i would of been able to read the board this morning because....

Chainsaw13,Bluetooth, and 2K1 all hit the nail in the head...it was a blown fuse, well i replaced it and it blew again...because the O2 Sensor got punctured by the heatshield(don't ask) and everytime they come in contact they creat a short circuit blowing the fuse. I'm going to have to replace the wiring and 2 02 Sensors. I tried putting tape around the wiring but it was too hot and didnt get it on well so when i drove of well...came in contact again and blew the fuse!!!

But i have to say this exhaust sounds AWESOME when working..

thanks for the help guys...i really appreciate it

Keep you guys informed

If I am not mistaken when the fuse blows the trans take off in 3rd gear. That is what creates the bog of course. -Mat-

Arrow fuse & bog down

It is fuse 24 under hood box(not the box in cab). It will keep blowing until wiring/sensors are replaced. The very same thing happened to me. I traced every wire down to find problem. The O2 wiring junctiions at switch 140. You will see tranny & PCM wiring junction there also.
