I was reading up on how to fix the annoying squeak that comes from the bed when you have the rear slider open. Thank you to whom ever posted all the insight on applying grease to the cables for the tailgate. The squeak is gone and so is my pounding headache! However, I still have a loud rattle that seems to shake the underside of the truck whenever I go over bumps. At first I thought it was the exhaust but now I'm not so sure. It only happens when I go over bumps??? I know it could probably be a million things, just curious if anyone knows.

 

i just made an appointment today for the same problem. try revving your truck in neutral, and when the engine is winding down, see if you hear it then too. (mine has to be warm befor it will start making the rattle) i went in today, and they told me the exhaust sounded like it was loose.....chris

 

i have an appointment next week for mine. mine sound like the drive side door rattling when i hit bumps.
