There not that bad, but the 99 style are still the best in my book.

Don't like them. Stock, the 01 and 02 rims look better. In 20' chrome, the 2000's look better.

I still prefer the '99 style too. I do like the '03's better than the '01 / '02's though. They just look a lot like the wheels on the LS and maybe the Boneville.

Those look like the old IROC Z wheels.

I read that Ford has done something to prevent chips from working in the '03's.

personally i love the 01-02 rims best, ESPICALLY in 20 in form.

But everyone said the same thing when the the 01's first shots of the rims came out. "i think they are ugly, i'll stick with my 99's"

bla bla, i do think they look like the iroc's but lack the bit to make them look like it (i had thoes rims) the spoke meeting the dish rounds out, if it was straight it would look closer.

I saw that thread by someone but don't remember if they ever figured out if it was true or not.

I think the Rims look good. From that angle they kind of look small though.

I like the new style,i have a 2000 and the spokes are right in the air stream, problem is that the outside edge gets sandblasted so to speak.I think they redesigned them to prevent this from happening even though they dont cover it under warrenty.Get this i dont drive mine in the rain or snow and the north east rep said that it is normal wear and tear, this was 3 months ago and i had only 12k on the odometer.

rep say's.....thats from driving in the winter
I say...... I dont drive it in the winter!!
rep say's........ its from driving in the rain
i say........I dont drive it in the rain
rep say's........it's normal wear and tear
I say........i only have 12k miles is this really normal???
rep say's.......yes its normal try again before warrenty expires
I say........will you put that in writting?????
rep say's...............yes it will be put in your file

so now im waiting untill the last day before my warrenty is expired then im gonna raise holy hell with this guy and demand new rims,i would have settled for having them re-finished 3 month's ago

sorry to rant but this is a sore subject with me!!!

i believe that the 2001-2002 rims are the best looking rims ever put on a lightning (STOCK ). They just look aggressive ya know? I think that the new rims look too much like s.u.v rims, they just don't scream "race me and I'll kick your a$$!"

The 01-02 rims grew on me. They were OK, now they are awesome. But the kicker is how they look while the L is in motion. I've never seen anything better.

Are they keeping the SVT badging even though the group is gone/assimilated?

The '03 wheels look like the ones off of a lexus-dissapointment.
