first time at track
went to lebanon valley last night, first time i've ever even seen a track in person. lots of cars there so i only got two runs. the first i lost all traction and pulled a 14.7, the second i went 1/4 throttle off line and then punched it with better results but I think I hit the brakes before I went threw the lights, i didnt know where to stop??? heres my slips, I am 90% sure i hit brakes on second run but would love to know what i should have got if i kept going, maybe someone could disect my time slips?
run 1
60 ft- 2.591
330 ft-6.873
1/8- 9.944(83.77mph)
1000 ft-12.542
1/4- 14.714(104.84)
run2
60 ft-2.344
330ft-5.983
1/8- 8.904(84.51)
1000ft-11.436
1/4-13.608(98.33mph)
the 98.33mph is the reason i think i hit the brakes on the second run, that and my brother and friend told i hit the brakes before i crossed the lights. I would think the MPH on the second run would be 2-3 higher than the first, so up near 106mph, anyways based on the slips what do you guys think i should have had on that run? and with better 60's what should i expect?

Ya Leb Valley is set up weird.
The scoring towers are about halfway down the track, so ignore them and keep racing. Next time there go take a look at where the finnish line really is. That way you will know where you can let off the gas and start slowing down.
Once you learn where the finnish line is, then you will have a better idea just how fast you are going.
What you have to do is work on your 60 foot times, get them under 2 seconds and your times will improve.
