Lightbulb anyone ever tried these

I was wondering if anyone has ever tried some racing slicks of some sort for drag racing instead of a drag tire. Also how they perform compared to drag slicks. Thanks for any info.

i tried something like that for my truck. I took two slightly bent racing wheels from my late model. they are a little bit smaller bolt pattern but i hoged out the holes to make them fit. So now ever week when i get through at the track i mount them up on the wheels for the L. We race on hoosier tires which are really soft for a oval track tire so they work really good on the L

I ran some Dulop 18" road race slicks at the drags. Worked better than street tires but not as good as drag slicks. Plus they cost new $650/ea.

I have run Hoosier Dirt Boz tires and the hook great but wear fast. I now run Hoosier drag slicks.
