Unhappy Wreck, please help.

Well, here is my beauty. The adjuster is looking at it tomorrow to give me the word. Does it appear that it may be a total loss? It's a 2001 with 8k miles and about $2k worth of mods. The paint is beat in alot of areas, front left fender, door, lights, hood, windshield, windows, etc.......it aint purdy.

I seriously doubt thats a total. If it was me, I think next time I would aim for the pole instead of a block wall
Just hope you where not hurt and the truck will be fixed good as new

Avoided an accident where a someone ran a red light, took a hard right in the intersection, spun sideways corrected, over corrected, and then met the cinder block wall..................everybody is AOK, I feel / look normal.

Well, I got the truck on 2.9% last Oct., and I know I'll never get that again. Part of me wants them total it, the other half doesn't want a total. I can't afford to replace it unless the insurance company is super good to me......cough cough. I just don't want a pile of junk back, I know every little bit and piece of this truck. A limited edition truck that has had a major repair is worth alot less.

Well wait to see how much they are going to estimate the damage at.

My friend has a Focus, and he was in an accident. And let me say he got screwed big time, no vasaline

With b/n $13k and $14k left on the car, it got basically totalled. Prudential (horrible BTW) and the shop had it estimated at around $7k-$8K of damage. Not enough to total it out in the books. As the repairs went more and more damage was found. Turns out the total cost of repairs was over $11k. The vehicle should have been totaled an delivered to a junkyard.

But because he didn't push hard enough, he now owns a vehicle that he still owes alot of money on, would get raped on trade-in, would be hard to sell off privately without getting jacked. Plus some more problems are starting to arise because of the accident. And to put the cherry on top, Ford voided his warrenty b/c of the accident.

Yours looks very fixable, but we don't what the inside looks like, and what long term affects if any the accident could cause your truck. So the moral:

Watch out and wear a steel chastity belt!

Hey whats up dan? (It has been awhile - so hopefully i didn't get your name wrong) I don't know if you remember me-- I have the red lighting and I met you at the gas station awhile back near post-- Too bad that happened Well if you don't have a body shop yet I would recommend talking to Tony at auto magic. I had my tundra repaired there and the lightning is going in for a new front bumper..... Awhile back the insurance company wouldn't total my friends corolla even though it cost more than a new to fix and AutoMagic did a great job!

Did you ever get the Nitrous in there?

Hope it works out --

Brad

Sin,

Thank God you are ok Sweetie. You have to WARN folks before you just throw pics like that up. Goodness.
The truck can be fixed, I'm glad you're not squished...

Hmm, I wonder if hallmark is hiring.

Is it definitely going towards your own insurance? Any witnesses?

Get the tag's of the persons car who ran the red light and sue the @#$% out of him for the damages if it's a large amount, that shouldn't be your fault, they are the one who broke the law, if totalled get the value of your truck in money.

Just my thoughts.
