Test out Heartland Park Topeka - 2 days $100.00!!

Everyone is getting excited about the upcoming NLOC Lightningfest 2003 next summer at Heartland Park, Topeka, and for very good reason. If you've ever been there, you understand. For those of you who have yet to run it, here's your chance on the cheap!.

The KC Chapter of the SVTOA is holding an On-track event at HPT on November 2-3 2002. --TWO DAYS-- of ontrack, skidpad and autocross...all for the miserly sum of $100.00!! Even better--2nd driver, same vehicle is only $75.00!! That's right, $100.00 (entries postmarked 10/15/02 or earlier; afterwards, $200.00) You will be running the 2.2 mile configuration, which is the same setup the Craftsman Truck series used to run when they raced there.

Ford SVT will be in full support of this event and have a trailer of goodies/products there!

The response to this price and content has been overwhelming, and the likelyhood of this event selling out is great. Therefore, we are limiting this to the first 100 vehicles.

Here's a link to the blurb and entry form: http://www.svtoakc.com/forums/viewthread.php?tid=53

Hope to see you there!!

FYI...if any of you have one of the older nascar games (nascar 2/nascar 99/etc.) or any others that have the Craftsman Truck series inluded, you can race it in your scivvies in your home to get an idea (or practice!).

Come on out; you'll never regret it! For those who plan to get there Friday afternoon, we're in the process of organizing an early tech session/get together. Time and place to be disclosed as soon as its finalized.

Roger,

Would love to attend. VERY attractive price too. My rotors are pretty much gone and wouldn't take another on-track event plus the budget is kinda tight these days.
