Eagle One mag and wheel polish, beats Mothers by my own tests (not beating mothers, rather polishing the exhaust tips, sheesh)

Oh, almost forgot [insert ] gratuitous search usage complaint[/ insert]

You guys make your mothers polish them?

That is so low! After all she has done for you.

"Hey Mom! Go out and wash and wax my truck you old b***h !
And when you're done, mow the lawn!"

Gheeeeeez!

Okay don't laugh...I've just finished cleaning the tips tonight. I went to local parts store and picked up a can of mothers. I polished the outside and they looked immaculate! Then on to the inside...geez, at one point I was going to post a thread and tell everyone that some idiot who owned her before me spray painted the inside black. There must have been a 1/4'' of build up on the things. I finally took some 350 grit sandpaper and got all the black off and finished it with some mothers and carnuba. Thanks for all the replies. I'll be putting up some pictures soon.
On a side note, has anyone noticed the metal bracket(I have no idea what this is called) located behind your parking brake rusting? Mine looks a little rusty, nothing severe just some rust coloration. Thanks again, Jim

It's a waste of time to clean inside the tips.

Whenol metal polish is better than mothers. I tried both, when I was polishing up the valve covers on my 71 Olds. and the Whenol polish put Mothers to shame. I use Whenol on my "tip" LOL and it makes it look great.
