Does anyone know the Ford part # for the intercooler pump? The pump is very noisey on my 2002 L. I took it in to the dealer a month ago & they ordered the part. I finally called friday to check on the part & they have an intercooler package ordered. I've had no intercooler leakage or problems & the service writer had no clue why the intercooler "package" as he called it had been ordered. He only said it was on backoreder. If I can get the right part # I'll order it myself & pay for it to keep my L out of their shop.

2002 f150 SVT here's the #, its for the 2000 but the main # should be the same F8YZ-8501-AA the only first four #'s change if they do it, good luck. gary

 

Maybe Ford is having problems with the pumps that are coming from their suppliers?? I have an '02 with only 2700 miles on it and that damn pump has been making noise since day one. Sounds like its sick! Its WAY louder than every other Lightning intercooler pump I've heard!
