Richard,
I've used or seen just about every type of OBDII scanner and Autotap is by far the best that I've found.
The problem that I've seen with most scanners is they do not datalog, or if they do, they are too slow (readings every .5 seconds or so).

I resell a companies software at a discounted rate. It is similar to Autotap and all of the other laptop based softare. You can check it out at http://www.obd-2.com and you can buy it w/ the discount at http://www.eldreth.net/shopping
The best datalogging software I've found so far can be found at www.easesim.com . You want the personal use Ford OBDII package. It's very similar to Autotap, but I've found it to have better capability. You will need a laptop to use it. Many of the top Autologic tuners use the Ease software. Check it out
.
Here's a link right to what you need, as it can be a bit confusing to find the first time you visit the site:

Sal or anyone else that has used Ease: I also heard from somewhere that the personal version of Ease only lets you scan a certain amount of vehicles? Is this true or not?
If it is true, do they mean you can only have X amount at a time, and if you want to scan more vehicle you have to delete other ones to make room. Or is it X amount only?
