How the Lightning Seats should have come (pic)
I do like this idea
However, I think the seats would be even more attractive if done in Gray Leather

Without a doubt...that looks good
The interior of the L is the one thing that bugs me. The seats I can ALMOST live with ... however around Christmas it's re-do the interior time. Here's what is planned:
Connolly Leather on the seats. I am thinking keeping the two tone theme ... but instead of light grey and black, go with a dark grey and black...black still in the centre but the SVT logo embroidered in red.
I am still messing with the idea of going dual buckets with a centre consule. I was thinking about putting another drivers side seat on the passenger side so that it can be power. Put a centre consule that is thinner than our current arm rests is so that the power seat adjustments in the passanger seat can be easily reached. The centre consule would be farbicated , and include a comfy padded arm rest ... and a stereo system with nav screen. (Also...new speakers throughout) The forthcoming Kenwood system is the same nav. system in the Lexus LS 430. It is the best nav. system I have ever seen.
Carpeting: Lexus LS430 quality and Black in colour.
Oh yeah...while the interior is out the interior will be Dynamatted a few times over.
Ah...the dash.....
THIS IS THE THING I DISLIKE MOST ABOUT OUR Ls
IT IS MADE OF CHEESY, CHEAP, ABS PLASTIC.
I was discussing it with a guy who specializes in interiors. I told him I would like the entire dash covered in leather with some padding underneath, sort of like what is around the instrument pod on the 911 Carrera.
He said he could do it, but that I should re-think it. He said it would be a serious beeitch to do and that he fears that when he gets it back together it will probably rattle and creek...and he knows how I feel about noises...they drive me crazy.
So what do you all think? Is doing the dash out?
