Supercharged Escalade EXT; WTF?!?!?!?!

I learned a lesson 2nite; If you're going to lay the smackdown on someone, DON'T DO IT AT PART THROTTLE, KILL 'EM GOOD AND FAST, FROM THE GET-GO!!!!

First, let me preface this by saying I hate street racing, and I NEVER rev at anyone, but every once in a while.......that manly testosterone flows very noticeably through you when someone starts something on the streets.............we all (or most) know how that goes.

Anyways, an Escalade with 24's, those that keep spinning, passes me, throws it in neutral, and starts revving.........all this while in motion at about 50mph. So I catch up to him, we both slow down to like 35-40, gun it, and I spank him by at least 4-5 truck lengths by the time we hit 80. After I slow down, he catches up with me, and wants to go again. I spank him again, same as the first one, and I slow down to wait for him again. WE NOW CATCH A LIGHT! We take off, and I'm easily ahead at part throttle, and as I see him catching up, I nail it a little harder and proceed to win by about 3 truck lengths or so by 60..........Had I gone full throttle he'd of looked like 2 small spotlights in the mirror.........CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS CAT STILL WANTED TO GO AGAIN?!?!? and talking ***** the whole time......."Even with my heavy *** 24's, my ***** is fast.....I can keep up with a Lightning all thru first gear......I got a supercharger for speed and everything else for the looks.........BLAH BLAH BLAH

What the hell is wrong with some people.........don't they realize when they are getting annihilated................I felt like an *** for even telling him his truck looked good.........SCREW HIM...........for about another 15-20 blocks this guy stayed alongside me jumping, pacing, revving..........the whole nine yards..........He's probably talking ***** to his boys about "How he kept up with an L" Yeah................OOOOOOOOOK!!

well..........thankfullly, since it was my girfriend's birthday she was in a good mood, and she enjoyed me laying the smackdown. I wish she was such a good sport all the time!! Gotta love her

One time when Teri(my fiance) was driving the L ,A lexus revs on her so she hits the gas a little and the lexus almost keeps up.So he wants to go again.I told her if you are going to race you have to do it right or not at all.So she lays the smackdown on him and then he leaves us alone.I told her nothing ,and I mean nothing would have made the kid happier then to say he kept up with a lightning.

That's bad ***! The dude must of swapped the 'gator front end for a expy front clip! Talk about custom! Oh yeah, my truck could spank an L easy, so what's the big deal?.........Assuming we were in 6 inches of icy mud that is..... OK, I'm sorry, I'll go back the regular forum, I am always over here admiring your L's and I thought I'd be a smart *** for once...Take care and have fun!

MiamiWhiteSVT-L, if you wouldn't of had those mods on your truck, I think he would have bitch slapped you instead. I understand your gripe in some small way, but give the SUV some credit.

Screw the punk in the $53k truck with $15k a piece rims and who knows what else. Its all about showing off his money in his truck and all about us having pride in our trucks. There will always be somebody bigger and badder or wanting to be. But when you run into that one guy who is an a$$hole about it, it just sours the whole deal. If you had been towing a boat and raced him and the results came out the same, that kid would have been running his mouth saying the same stuff. Some people just want to talk trash. Screw them. Arrogant people suck.

I know how you feel Miami---I raced my buddies stang from about 20mph (he was in the perfect gear for his car, while I was at the mercy of the automatic) to 60mph. I didn't slam down the gas for fear of wheelspin and after we were going for awhile I looked back and he is still only about 2 car lengths behind!

We got to the next light...and he says..."Is that all that thing has??" I have never been so frustrated after winning a race! I think people forget that we are still doing this in a TRUCK with an automatic and no traction!

Dude, there is no way in hell, that he'd of been able to REALLY keep up, even had I been stock...............I mean, a chip is basically all I have............the other few mods are basically getting me ready for when I get a pulley..........other than that, they don't really do a heck of a lot on a stock-boost truck.

I read in some magazine, I guess it was truck trend, where they took an Escalade, not the EXT like the one from last nite, but the full SUV, and added a Paxton unit at 7 or 8 psi, and all they could muster out of it was a low 15! Trust me, with those huge rims, and even added boost, he barely would be able to crack a 14...........I'd love to see him try!

Don't get me wrong............I give credit to anything that looks good, and anything that goes fast, even if it's in primer with rust. I do commend him on the badass looking truck, and even his blower................just next time, accept defeat, however many times it comes, and don't yap afterwards thinking he's the ***** as though he'd of won.
