How do you guys get your factory tonneau end to lay flat?

How do you guys get your factory tonneau end to lay flat?

I have the dreaded "ends flip up" disease, and it looks rather chintzy. Do you cut a slit in the plastic?

I've never had that problem with mine but I've read that you can clip the stictches in the corners to help them lay flat. Before you do it, wait on some more responses. Don't want to steer you wrong.

Heh mine is doing it a little bit too, they are corner spoilers.

If yours is flipping, it's too late BUT if not, then you CAREFULLY take a single edge razor (Woops bad word) blade and cut out the excessive material that is bunched up beyond the stitching. In other words, cut off the material beyond the thread. DO NOT CUT THE STITCHING

Take it back and get a warranty replacement..I did...No problems NOw.
