I have used several model cobras and never have gotten a ticket. they have pretty good range too. But they aren't a v1. for the price they can't be beat IMO.
I saw no "directional locators" An electronic Compass yes, but no indicators like the V1 has.

And for the guy with the wife that didn't like the "noise", a push at the On/Off **** on the V1 drops the audio level to 'almost mute'.

shat! i guess i just wanted them to be directional locators so bad...in my mind. i am never paying 400 freaking bucks for a radar detector. Someone can shoot me if I do!
