new times with 4lber
i went to the track tonight 1/8th mile that is. i have had my pulley on for a week now so i'm just getting the feel of it right now. i haved a pretty bad hooking problem. well anyways i run 8.70s three times in a row my 60 fts were all 2.1 and 2.2 i was running on my 20s with 34 lbs of air. oh yeah my speeds were good i think i had two 89mph and on 88.9mph. the temp was 83 degrees. so is this good or bad.
Your speed indicates that your making good power.
Sounds like you just need to now work on putting it "down" to the pavement.
You might try some lower control arms first to see how that helps the tires bite better? Get some that have an "instant center" as far forward as poss. (not slapper bars)
Then get ya some sticky rubber

Definitely, tires would help. Those 20's aren't doing you any favors on the track. It's cool, though, to think that you can run 8.70 1/8th-mile times exactly how your truck runs every day on the street!
With E/T streets and 2# pulley, air filter & chip I can get 1.8 60's and 8.3 1/8ths. Can't do that on the F1's!

Get yourself some good traction bars also. Try the hoosiers if you get a chance. Hey, send me a pic of your truck. Id like to put it on my site. Thanks.

The 20s are killing you.You could be 2-3 tenths faster with a set of E.Ts os 555rs.Plus why ruin the 20 inch tires. They get to be expensive.
With that said.Wasn't it a blast. That 4 pounder really wakes these trucks up.
