I bought a 88 Mark VII for a work car and I am having a little problem. I thought that maybe someone here could help me.

Here is the problem:
When you turn the headlights on the fuel gauge and tach stop working.

If anyone knows what to do, please let me know.

Sounds like a bad ground somewhere........although its just a guess.
