If you buy it make sure you check the wheels for balance and damage. They were suseptible to being bent from what I read and heard. I always thought I would like one...but yeah the new on is the hot ticket.

Well, I guess some other guy is making the decision easier on me. The guy who detailed the car for the dealership is trading his mustang in on it. However, he isn't keeping the car for himself. He is then going to give it to his "girlfriend" to drive. What a idiot. This car is in absolutely perfect shape and now some chick from Yugoslovia is going to be backing it into things. Btw, I mean no disrespect for the girls on the list. If you can drive a lightning then I know you can handle a M3.

I didn't say I'd trade mine. He just really wants a six speed...

The '96 M3 is like a family sedan compared to your beast.

I agree with the previous comments. Either go all the way and buy a '02 E-46 M3 or a Eurospec E-36 that's cheap. I still have my '96 Eurospec M3 and I still love driving it, mind you it's got just about every bolt-on known to man these days, all the suspension ones, cams, exhaust and as of this week a Motec M800 fully programmable ECU.

But with that said there's nothing that replaces the awesome feel and presence of the L!
