Longtubes and no cats?

Anyone have longtubes with straight pipes to a muffler without cats? Or is that too much of a loss of backpressure

I was running that same setup for a while, but it was sooo loud I figured I was just asking for a ticket. It was awesome at the track though! And like ICULOKN said, no loss of power. If you do run this setup, try driving through a tunnel and just nail it... the sound is insane!

Does anyone make an offroad pipe or does custom work need to be done by an exhaust shop?

I'm pretty sure that JDM sells the mid-pipes that go from the end of the headers to the location that the stock mufflers connect.

Some people claim a loss of low end power. I for one do not see it. If anything I gained some. I use to be able to hook my truck on any wheels. Now I can only hook it good on slicks. If you gain or lose anything it has to be minimal, and the sound sure as hell makes up for it.....

Here is what the Tuners run....

Sal- LT's No Cats
JL- LT's No Cats
JDM- LT's No Cats

JL had LT's, no cats, & no mufflers at first, but he said it was just to loud...

I guess the no cat thing may work?
