Exclamation Sal, Question On Nitrous Tuning!!

Sal, I was talking with nitrous express the other day about running there nitrous kit on Gen 2's and they told me with their kit that there is no need to retard the timing unless you run over a 100hp shot. I was wondering what your thoughts were on this? I ran the Auto Tap program on my L the other day and my street program showed 20 degrees of total timing at WOT and 16.5 degrees of timing on the nitrous program. Since I only run a 75hp shot I was wondering if I could get away with running the nitrous on the street side of my chip? By the way anytime that I run the nitrous I add 1/2 bottle of Nitrous express's Power Booster just to be safe. Which brings me to my last question, what is your opinion on Nitrous Express's power booster? It is supposed to help reduce the chance of denotation while on the bottle and adding a few hp at the same time.

Thanks,

I'm not Sal here of course, BUT if you try the N20 on the street program I would have some actual 100-104 octane gas in the tank for insurance on the intial test runs!!!! I say: GO FOR IT!!!!
If it blows, then build it better!!!!!!

I dont know for sure... But If I remember right one of JDM's NOS guys in TX posted he used a 100-150 shot on the JDM J39 Program. I guess as long as you have good plugs & gas you can do it....

I would rather loose .1-.2 and be safe though.....
