Stock plugs finally go bye-bye...

Finally after a couple months of runnin a 6lb'er on stock plugs, I did a plug change today. I went with NGK TR-6's gapped at .040. It runs a lot smoother. My stock plugs looked fine.. a bit rich but thats good! I changed plugs in about 3 hours. Not bad for my first time, but now that ive figured out a couple tricks and whatnot, im sure next time I could do it in just over 2 hours.

Good to see the stock plugs lasted.
From what everbody says it is the heat that kills them.

I did it in about the same time. Makes you feel proud after it's done right. Welcome to the C-MOP. Changed-My Own Plugs.
If you were running rich with the stock plugs, you may have a problem going two steps colder to TR6's, but as long as you beat it regulary, you should be fine. I was also running a 2 to 3 upper and a 4 lower for a few weeks before the spark plug change.
Mine looked like this:

TR6's should be fine with a 6#, think they're one step colder
