waxin the lightning
well i used to use LG on my truck since i bought it. Stuff was great. Easy to do, looked great, got alot of compliments on what i used. ANyway, i just switched to zaino 2 weeks ago to give it a try and OMG what a difference!! i didn't think it would be that noticible but it is!
Yeah the LG was cheaper up front, but i paid like 100 bucks for all my zaino stuff and its gonna last me a looong while cuz less than an ounce will do my entire truck (and w/ extended cab thats more than your L...duh, lol) also, i got the car wash, window polish, tire shine (best stuff out there IMO, dries so it doesn't fling or attract dirt and lasts), quick detailer, 2 claybars, z5 polish, z2 polish, zfx to speed everything up. So it all evens out when you figure all the other stuff i bought that you dont get with LG.
as for the work involved? Yes its alot of work up front. The LG just on and off and your done (or a few more coats). With the Zaino here's what i did:
dawn wash, claybar, z7 wash, 3 coats of z5, 1 coat of z2 and it looks amazing. Took me a day to all that except the z2. i did that the next day. Now all i have to do is z7 wash and hit it w/ the z6 quick detailer and it looks awsome! whenever i feel like it again i'll do another coat or two of z2. probably next week (even though it doesn't need it LoL) and the zaino is easier on and off than the LG.
Basically to sum all this babbling up, LG is great for anybody who has a daily driver who want it to be protected and look good. Zaino is just a step above for anybody that want it to look amazing all the time. Just a little more time and money up front, but after that its a breeze. Hope all this rambling will help you in some way

Maybe Ill try out the Zaino when I move and actually have a garage with some room to spare. With the weather here in FL (especially latey) I think I would be a broken man after doing all those Zaino steps just to have it rain on it over and over. For now Im happy that the LG is easy to use and best of all hasnt put any streaks or wax dust on my truck. Plus the bottle of LG was only like 20 bux
