I know this will get thrown off of the Lightning board real quick and rightly so but this seems to be the most active one in this subject matter.

Photoshop is the question:

Which version to buy?? I have seen quotes as high as $600 for the professional version to as low as $100 for a play around with it version.

For the purpose of fiddling around with lowering, exhaust treatments, color changes etc. which is the most cost effective?

I figure I can save a heck of a lot of money by using this medium versus the cut and fit lets see how it looks program most of us have to go through fiddling with the real vehicle and real mods.

Jasc Paint Shop Pro. It will do 98% of what Photoshop will do and cost less than $100. I use it everyday.

Buy the Photoshop Elements, it sells for less than $100 and has almost all the features of the larger version.
