Photo Shop Needed

I have these Lund Scoops on order and even know my truck is Black, I was considering painting the scoops Red, or White.
Any possibility of seeing that. Or any other sugestions on the scoop color.

This is the closest match in pictures I can find. If it's easier make the red one Black EXCEPT THE SCOOPS

Thanks in advance if anyone can help
Rob

Your right Vin, Red is absolutly out. I did a crappy clone with and I don't like it. I guess I'll go with Black, White or Silver

They arent for me i dont like them. Only after market hoods that i have seen on a lightning so far that i liked were the Cervinis Cowl of course like i have. The shaker hood and the hood that looks like the mustang cobra hood with nostrals. I think thats the F1 hood. Like you said you wanted our opinions and theres mine. I would do a search for a post by thepawn(Daniel) called hood bonaza that was a great post he put together on hoods .

You know V, I'm starting to think the same way. Your talking to a guy thats owned AT LEAST (11) 1969-1971 Big Block Chevelles.
All 6 of my 70's had working Cowl Induction, and I'm very partial to it. AWESOME HOOD DUDE. Bottom line, lots of home improvements coming up soon, and minimum money for L Mod's, so what I do do, "IS ALL PERFORMANCE". Only problem is I don't like the plain look on the stock L hood and don't want to go for big bucks for one now. Thought these would be a cheap, quick, easy compromise, but I don't know after getting an idea of what they'd look like on mine. Although I think Black would blend in much more than red.

Hey I got an idea V, why don't you sell me your hood and get a new one for you. What do you say my Lightning Brother

I got like 5 people asking me for my hood if i ever sell it HEHE. If i do sell it would be for a shaker hood and a special paint job because i just dont think all black works with the shaker .

See now V I totally agree with you and I think your L would look awesome with a shaker hood. To offset the price needed for a new one I think selling your current hood to a fellow Lightning Brother Say Oh Here in NY for instance would be the correct thing to do. As for the other people that asked. FORGET ABOUT IT, this is me we're talking about here. Hey, it's the weekend, I can hit the cash machine, drive to Jersey and do it right now if you want.

Let me tell you what sets me apart from them.
I WILL NOT GIVE MY L TO A BODY SHOP
I WILL NOT GIVE MY L TO A DEALER
AND I SURLY WILL NOT GIVE MY L TO A MECHANIC

So the only way I'm ever gonna get a perfect fitting Black Hood with an awesome scoop is by buying yours. So you see why there is no one else you can sell it too. Beside, have any of them had a dozen cowl hoods on their old Chevelles like me ---> NO.
No-one can truly appreciate it like I can, PLUS you would be stopping me from putting those ugly *** little paste's on.
SO WHAT DO YOU SAY MY BROTHER ????

LMAO. I use to have these on the sides of the cowl.

But they have since been replaced by some nice big Cowl Induction emblems .
