Autometer Phantom Gages
I am going to install my autometer phantom gages tomorrow. I am wondering if anyone used the green light bulb cover and if so does it go with the rest of the instruments or did you not use any at all....
thanks in advance....JR

JR,
Take a blue Sharpie and make a 1/8" wide "X" on the top and down the sides of the bulb then put on the green boot.
mellows out the hue of the bulb, or something.
if it looks too 'blue-ish,' you can take a paper towel and wipe the ink off and retry.
another tip would be to leave some slack in the wiring behind the pod in case you decide to change gauges.
Have fun!

I've got almost 2 years on the autometer boost gauge . I used the green on. Lately the bulb isn't anywhere near bright enough to highlite the increments. Anyone recall the size and type. Think I need a new one...thanks...
