Question Will this fit in our trucks?

The aluminium cage thing (bed extender)...will it fit in the L ?

better yet...

If you install a Bedrug, can you bolt this puppy in thru the rug?

It would be great to have this in the bed to keep stuff like bags-o-groceries from flying around.

I think the one they put in the supercrew's would fit, but I'm not sure about brakets to mount it.

that would be different though, I haven't seen one in a L before.

I would like to get one too, to keep the groceries from flying around. However I found a solution... Acceleration. Sends it all flying to the rear for easy unloading. And don't have to use a cage to keep it back there.

It might look cheesy, but if you had a tonneau who would know? I have two milk crates in the back of mine, secured by bungee cords to the cargo loops. It beats chasing stuff up to the front of the bed.

I bought a racheting bar from Advanced Auto to hold my stuff. I saw them at Kmart too. I use mine to hold my slicks and stuff in if I remove my tailgate before going to the track. It's good to hold groceries and stuff too.

You've been here long enough to know how tough this group can be. Some things are best left unsaid. I keep my ballet slippers under my tonneau but, you don't see me telling anyone about it.

I did the same thing when I had my Ranger. Was very helpful & easy to remove for larger loads.

I am wondering though...

if you ever haul anything longer than the bed w/tailgate down...like 2 X whatevers X 12' or something. Having that thing in the back would make it tough to do.

Just a thought.

Thumbs up

The rachet bar like 99svt said. Works with the bedrug, it's moveable for different size loads and can be removed when not needed. Works for me.
