ranger L?

i'm probably almost positive you guys have already seen this, and i'm sure a few guys will complain at me for posting it again, but sorry in advance i can't keep up with every single post made in the L forum. it just moves too fast for me to keep up with, and i'm in the HD forum most of the time anyway, and just happened to find this, so i thought i'd share for anybody who didn't see it yet.

here's the link...i think its pretty cool, but would definately rather have a Lightning

Vinnie, don't get any idea's.

I mean come on man, I had to become my own Lightning mechanic because of GUYS LIKE YOU I did my own Upper Pulley, Lower Pulley, Air Inductions, Chip 4 times so far, Boost by-Pass, Spark Plugs (OH YA THAT WAS FUN) I've screwed with the Dash and radio to add a Subwoffer and 100 watt amp, I got Lund Scoops on order now, Hellwig Performance Tranction Control Springs on order now, The Tranny mod's still have to be done, I still need rims and slicks, AND NOW THIS.

I ****** HATE PAINTING

BUT DAM THAT PAINTED BLOWER DOES LOOK SWEET

OH yeah. For the years I wanted a Lightning (before I got one) I was trying to find a way to do a V8 swap, but everything I found said it wouldn't fit. I think somewhere I found the engine was to wide for the engine mounts and serious fabrication would have to be done to make sure it'd fit. AND THEN there was the much more heavy font end that someone said would make suspension a b!tch.

After seeing that I'd love to get one. Just don't know how to support 2 fast trucks and don't think I could part with my Lightning.

mocklab,

The v8 conversion is easy(302 easy, 351W a little harder). Check out http://www.advanceadapters.com/

If you decide to do it, give me a call. I have a few parts leftover from mine. I ended up selling the truck without the motor.

400HP in that little truck is tons-o-fun!
