ATTN: Mac Exhaust owners that painted inside of tips!?
Question for you guys...............I might get flamed for asking a dumba$$ question, but here goes anyway. Did you guys take the tips off, and paint the insides while they were off the truck, or did you just do it while on the truck???
Reason I ask, is because I had the tips welded on, and didn't know if I was gonna be able to paint the insides black like some of you did without making an absolute mess, and having to blanket and tape up the whole back of the truck.
Please advise..............and sorry for the dumb question

MiamiWhiteSVT-L,
I just carefully masked off the side of my truck.. My tips are welded on also.. The high temp bbq paint (rust-o-leum) dries very fast.. Just spray up close and be careful....JR

Thanks for the help guys..............BTW, what are you using to keep the outside nice and shiny??? I'm using some crappy chrome cleaner, which doesn't work all that well.............please advise on this also.
thanks again,
